I’ve got no idea what’s going on, but I’m finding it hard to a) ‘turn up’ to my independent workouts and b) feel good about them once complete.
This is something everyone training with a trainer will come to face I think. The difficulty of giving yourself the same high intensity, high quality workout you get with your trainer. My resolution. To keep trying to make each session at least as good as the last one when training solo.
Step 1. Turn up.
Step 2. Tunes on.
Step 3. Do the bloody exercise.
Step 4. Congratulate myself on Steps 1, 2 and 3. And here’s the important bit… irrespective of whether it was a world class workout or not.
Wish me luck, I’m off to the gym.
