Got my results today!!

Today was my measurements day.  Weight, skin folds and girths (measurements).

Today was a good day!

Here are my skin fold results over the past two months.  If you’re not sure skin folds are testing using those callipers that pinch your body fat over various sites.

Tony tests on 8 sites which I understand is quite thorough (as I would expect from Tony).

So as you can see my body weight went up initially which was mostly muscle gain and some fluid retention and has now come back down to 82.9kg.  I’m pretty happy at that sort of weight, when I was doing the Tri’s I was down to about 72kg and many people thought I looked gaunt, tired and old.  I also felt very small.  Extremely fit.  But small.  So the exciting thing about that weight figure is that I’ve maintained that while losing 25mm across my total skin folds.  The highlight is that 10mm of that total came off my belly which is where we blokes often store fat and where it’s considered the greatest health risk.  So that’s a great thing especially as it’s the bit I routinely look down on, grab and jiggle so the smaller that gets the better if you ask me.

I can’t remember the specifics but I think Tony suggested that 15mm was about 3kg of body fat.  So that means I’ve lost nearly 6kg’s of body fat while added virtually the same amount in muscle.  Yeah baby!!

I’ve attached some pics from the first month to the second month.  Not exactly a complete body transformation and plenty still to do, but you can clearly see the results and they’re moving in the right direction.
